I hope so!
Oversight and justice are imperative to a functioning society.
But I also think that while Jeffries knows Trump SHOULD be impeached for several issues, it will be impossible to get a conviction and subsequent removal through the Senate. The best we can probably hope for, even if Dems take majorities in both houses of Congress, is some obstruction of further damage to our Republic.

I agree. But I doubt if mankind is going to like the result.

I understand how AI may significantly undermine the workforce, especially many white collar jobs. Which may in turn will degrade blue collar jobs, as more and more people will be competing for that work. Really, in the long run, I don't see how it's good for anyone except a very wealthy few. Considering the billions (perhaps trillions) that are being invested in AI, where is the ROI? How will it be monetized? I'm having trouble seeing the general benefit to mankind.

You people are the ones standing up for an adjudicated sexual predator. Why do Trump supporters have the attention span/memory of turnips?

It's been apparent that the Trump regime is in over their heads since this "excursion" started. Or are they? Trump couldn't possibly have helped Putin more, without making it even more blatantly obvious.

The bigger question I have is, why didn't Trump fill the SPR when oil was cheap, just last year?

In my area, the Hispanic labor force is practically gone. Construction and farming are grinding to a standstill. Good luck finding that affordable housing. They aren't building any. And good luck with those grocery prices when far less is getting planted or picked.

The tank I fill most often is my Chevy Colorado diesel, since it carries my tools and acts as my daily driver. Fortunately, since it's a little 4 cylinder I average about 27 MPG out of it. Three months ago it was costing me about $65 to fill it. Now it's a little over $100. Diesel here is currently about $5.20.
I also have a GMC 3500HD that I only use when I need to pull a heavy trailer or haul my camper. It hasn't been out since the beginning of the year.

Since Trump has cut off an enormous amount of federal funding due to his specific vendetta against CO, over our politics and the Tina Peters incarceration, I feel like I'm paying significant taxes without representation.

Iran having nuclear weapons is only of consequence if they chose to use them. Whether we like it or not, they have just as much right to such weapons as anyone else. Especially as much right as Israel.
As I know someone will come along and say "But they're terrorists!"... So is the US government. We simply spend FAR more money on it.

I suspect that if Americans saw significant benefit from their taxes, instead of persistent and prevalent cronyism, perhaps sentiment about taxes could be different. But alas, the US is rife with corruption, which is only being compounded by the current regime. And nobody seems to know how to fix it.
If only there were other, better examples in the world to follow... But the selfish and unethical nature of much of the US populace stubbornly isn't going to let it happen.
