California legalized ballot harvesting and ballot curing. It is legal but justly sows distrust in California's election integrity.
The optics are terrible and so is the process. The people deserve to know the outcome of an election on Election Day,

Okay. My understanding is the count is not what is driving the controversy. It's that the late counted ballots skewed so heavily for the candidate who conceded on Election Day to move her to second place that the ballots themselves have the appearance of being fraudulent.

Recently I had ads pop up while I was composing a post and it took some doing to get back to what I was typing. I get that this site needs ad revenue to keep functioning but it also needs traffic to keep functioning and when the sheer volume of ads becomes so annoying that it drives people away the ads become a hinderance.

The country is far bigger than one president or the last 18 months. When it comes to policy Trump is a mixed bag. Tariffs are bad and without Congress I believe they are unconstitutional. Securing the Border in a manner that is almost unprecedented and restoring order to our immigration system is a very good thing. This country is about to become 250 years old and is still strong as ever. If you tie your patriotic views to losing an election that is a temper tantrum and nothing more.
