Observers noted that the "No Kings" rally drew a predominantly white, middle-aged, and college-educated female crowd, reflecting a particular demographic rather than a broad cross-section of the public.

Lamp,
"The usual, aggressive horny men are OK, the problem is with the women."
Redial,
"No, but they throw as much money and trinkets as they can get their hands on to--------."
You both posted something showing you believe, how did I put it earlier, "you're accusing women of being weak and easily manipulated."
I didn't say the "problem" was with women.
What I said earlier was the "ultimate responsibility" is on women to not get pregnant.
"Throwing money" at her doesn't take away her responsibility.
At the same time, men should be more responsible and acknowledge their obligation if she does get pregnant.

Truth,
"Bill clearly doesn't understand how biology works if he thinks there would be a 3rd kid in his solution."
Good catch..

People just rationalize their actions.
That's all this is.

I've already agreed abortion is a choice women should be allowed to make. It's up to her to live with herself.
But it's her choice.
My point is simply the never ending downhill trajectory humanity is on.
The world is all about control, power, control of wealth and thus control of everything else.
Socially, humans are becoming shameless and without conscience.
And that's progress?

"So a man can force a woman to do something that the woman may not want to do?"
How is that any different from a woman deciding a baby doesn't get to live?

"We're not talking the sanctity of life"
There lies the problem.
Society rot and decay.

I already said I didn't support overturning Rowe v Wade.
My point now is that most abortions are simply due to people not respecting the life that was started or themselves.
It's a bigger issue than just abortion.
It's society tanking and going to the gutter.

"Aren't men a part of that power of creating life?"
I see where you're coming from.
My opinion is, if a man is willing to take responsibility for the child and raise it, he should have the legal right to require her to carry the baby.
Oh...suddenly men aren't that important anymore, are they?

"For tens of thousands of years theists have been using this theory to blame women for all the troubles in the world."
Blah, blah, blah.
You don't need to be religious to respect the sanctity of life.

Statistically about 15% of abortions are ------, rape or mother's life in danger.
You can adjust about 10% of abortions from failed birth control methods. I know no methods are fool proof but they must be used correctly.
That leaves about 75% of abortions due to convenience or maybe their chosen lifestyle.
This is numbers without all the rationalizing.

"So would men, but that ain't gonna happen."
The burden is ultimately on women to not make themselves accessible.
If you're saying the burden should be on men and implying men are irresistible and women can't say no, then you're accusing women of being weak and easily manipulated.
Though I agree with you in principle.
How about this solution by the state.
One unsupported child, lose a nut.
A second unsupported child, lose the other one.
A third unsupported child, guess what happens next?

"Destroy women's lives and soon gay people's lives."
The real issue is how little respect liberals actually have for women and how little respect some women have for themselves.
They dress abortion up as "empowerment", but there's nothing empowering about ending a life that depends on you.
That isn't compassion. It's convenience.
If women truly respected themselves, they'd respect the power that comes with creating life and not treat abortion as an easy fix for bad choices.

"So, religion does enter into your politics"
Freedom of Religion...ever heard of that?
I can vote for whoever I wish, for any reason that floats my boat...including religion.
What I don't support is using law to suppress or promote any religion.

Laura,
I'm not smoking the right stuff to understand your question.

"what exactly is your concern about transgender people in women's spaces?"
That horse has been beat to death.
So I'll just jump right to the solution.
Penis/no penis.
Doesn't matter what you believe you are. Stay out of women's areas if you have one.
Problem solved.

"Just like Pres Trump's endorsement of Christianity."
Now you're touching a whole different issue.
I don't support any kind of religious litmus test for office.
But I do support voting for a politician because I believe he will support the right of Christians to live out their faith. If politicians wants to play that card, that's fine by me.
With Kamala Harris, I'm fairly certain she'd align with the "Squad" who would try to limit Christians from expressing their values except only in their homes.

Alex,
Sometimes you just have to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Liberals need to pick their causes a little smarter.
I voted for Trump so he'd nominate the 3 upcoming justices.
I fully intended on wanting to prevent transgender "rights" in women's private space where they undress.
That's where things were headed politically and socially.
It's still being fought, but it's a lost cause for liberals now, thankfully.

Snoofy,
"So is opposition to gay marriage and abortion."
I support gay marriage. I would have preferred something without the word marriage in it. But, it's here and so I support it.
Also, I disagreed outright with overturning Rowe v Wade...I guess they didn't ask for my opinion.

You're absolutely wrong.
I compartmentalize them.
There is overlap, for sure, such as killing or stealing.
Just because it's a law doesn't mean its because of the Bible.
If Christians really started using the Bible to create law, it would be a mess.

Don't get me started on the Moral Majority.
Jerry Falwell and Ronald Reagan supported each other for mutual benefit.
Falwell delivered the evangelical vote and Falwell became part of the DC crowd.
It was a power exchange wrapped in scripture. Falwell got influence. Reagan got votes.

Sy,
I don't mix religion and politics.
Don't try to force an answer out of me or accuse me of avoiding the subject.
Decades ago I saw the futility in mixing them.

I didn't get the vacuuming done.
And she didn't pitch a fit. I'll do it in the morning.
That's how marriage works.

Jesus set the standards high to show us we can't be pleasing to God via "good works" or by acting a certain way.
You're right. Who can really do everything in the Bible?
But we can try to do some things. I only mentioned husbands and wives have the ability to create supportive, loving family environments.
Not sure what you're intentions are with this last post.
I don't see anyone talking about all that here.
