Connecticut health authorities reported the first evidence of the invasive longhorned tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis) infection with Ehrlichia chaffeensis in the US causing HME. Since its initial discovery in the US in August 2017, the longhorned tick has expanded into at least 21 states, primarily in the east and northeast, as well as the District of Columbia. Symptoms of HME can start with a sudden high fever, headache, muscle aches, chills, and a general feeling of weakness and fatigue within a few weeks after initial infection. In some individuals, symptoms may progress to include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and/or confusion. If not treated quickly, HME can lead to life-threatening symptoms, such as kidney failure and respiratory insufficiency in some cases. There is no vaccine to prevent ehrlichiosis. read more

Zaur Gurtsiev, Deputy Mayor of the Russian city of Stavropol who led an airborne operation to capture Mariupol, has been permanently removed from the chessboard by an explosion on the night of 28-29 May. A man identified as Nikita Penkov (29) approached the veteran special operations officer, a Russian military hero, and activated a hand grenade which neither of them survived. Prima facie, this appears to be a martyrdom operation against Zaur Gurtsiev, a former Russian paratrooper. Russian authorities suspect Ukrainian involvement. Previous Ukraine GUR missions behind enemy lines utilized escape plans or remote detonation devices. See video of operation in link. read more

Syrian refugee Muhammad Al Muhammad (19) was hailed as a hero after he pinned down a German native woman (39) who stabbed 18 people in Hamburg's main railway station last week. Muhammad was waiting on the platform for his train when he spotted a woman wielding a knife and people running away from her. The hero intervened and assisted a Chechen man who kicked her knee, causing her to collapse. Muhammad then pinned the maniac down until the polizei arrived. None of the victims died and the attacker was sent to a psychiatric facility for evaluation. Strict firearm regulations prevented this lunatic from owning a gun, which she could have used to cause more casualties and possibly fatalities, like a typical US mass shooting. read more

Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) reports: "Between 3 Dec 2023 and 27 Mar 2025, the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) conducted at least 518 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) flights to the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) using the Shadow R1 aircraft almost daily out of RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus."

  • In what way does flying these covert spy missions on behalf of Israel help the hardworking British taxpayer?
  • MP Jeremy Corbyn raised the issue in Parliament of UK complicity in IDF war crimes.
  • The UK is one of the 25% of UN member states that have not recognized the State of Palestine, joining the US, France, Canada, Australia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Germany, amongst others.
  • Why hasn't the UK recognized Palestine, like 75% of the remaining UN member states? read more

Trumpf just pardoned the disgraced ex-governor of Connecticut, so why not pardon the maniacs who wanted to abduct the Michigan governor? Link: www.courant.com

If ever a non-Republican political party gets into office again, an ENTIRE overhaul will be required to limit the imperial presidency (pardons, Czarist-like Executive Orders, and the over-abused Authorization to Use Military Force). And SCOTUS justices and D/FBI must be given term limits. Super-unqualified political hack Kashyap Pramod "Kash" Patel is enjoying a TEN-YEAR tenure as D/FBI with his own plane. The mind simply boggles.
