Mayor Pureval is well-liked and has done a good job in office. He came to City Hall after cleaning up the county recorder's office. He conducts himself like an adult. He seems to recognize the good and bad in the city and is focused on making things better.
Cory Bowman was a stooge, put up for the job by local MAGA hacks who thought that his half brother had coat tails. It was found out that Bowman (1) didn't pay state sales taxes collected from his coffeehouse business for more than a year (he finally did so in recent weeks), and (2) may have committed voter fraud when voting in his election, because he said he lived in one place, owned homes in two other locations, and may have voted in a local precinct where he didn't actually live, causing issues with a local judgeship race. His campaign was all about "Make Cincinnati Great Again" and local took offense to the insinuation that the Queen City was a shadow of itself, which it is not.
I'll wager the guy will never be heard of again, other than for some future traffic violation or domestic violence matter which may arise...
An awful song. Incomprehensible lyrics, sung by a coke head who couldn't hit a note, playing in a band that had seen its true talent disappear years before. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie as a rhythm section make mayonnaise on wonder bread seem exotic, and the late 70's version of Fleetwood Mac make ABBA seem like The Rolling Stones. Were it not for payola no one would know about Stevie Nicks. And don't get me started about'Tusk' ...
