For years, the S&P 500 soared above the stock indexes of other countries. But since Trump's inauguration, it has fallen 6 percent and is now trailing major markets in Europe and China as investors have started to pull money from the United States and reallocate it around the world. read more

In what may be a sign of the times, and not an especially healthy one, my readers and friends recently have been filling my email inbox with questions about whether Donald Trump and White House insiders have been manipulating the stock market with his vacillating announcements about tariffs and the economy. Speculation along those lines broke into the open Tuesday when Fox News reporter Peter Doocy referred to the overall slide in the stock market since President Trump's inauguration and asked White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, "You're sure nobody here at the White House shorted the Dow?" read more
""We're not delighted but we are realistic. A ceasefire agreement from us at least means that we are back talking to the Americans and they have given us access to the intelligence we need. Kursk shows what happens when we don't have it," said a senior [Ukrainian] ministerial adviser."

Dems are powerless.
For instance, if they had not helped pass the spending bill, Trump would have used it as the basis to be even more draconian with government cuts. Maybe even lay the groundwork to cancel midterms in two years.
There's no limit to what norms Trump will violate because the GOP is too afraid to stop him.
Chickens have come home to roost for all those Dems/libs who decided to stay at home/vote Green during elections in November.
