I'm a lot more pragmatic than you're giving me credit for.

What I see from you now though is objection to discussing the weaknesses and failures of the Democratic Party.

While I do agree that in the poll booth we need to vote against republicans. I'd rather go into the poll booth wanting to vote for the democrats.

That feeling has only existed once for me, Obama 2008, with his message of hope and change. Admittedly I was in my early 20s and fell for the propaganda.

But ever since then voting is simply an exercise not an opportunity.

The safe choice would be for all Californians to flock to him.

But many of us don't want a New York billionaire running our state, so we're pushing for Becerra.
