The original translation of this great myth was: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me"

I understood this to mean that you had to follow the same Path as Jesus. So you would pass by Jesus on the way to the Father. (The Father being the Divine spirit that we all apparently come from. And that we will all apparently return to.)

But the lesson to me was that there are many paths in Life to get to the final Path to the Divine. But eventually you will be passing Jesus on the way. And many many others traveling the same path, too.

Humans have existed on earth for approximately 200,000 years.

It is estimated that 109 billion humans have existed before "modern" times (AD). If we add the number of people alive today, we get 117 billion humans that have ever lived.
