Not sure what that adds up to. Those are not big victories. School boards? I was shocked to learn the school board in Wichita wasn't 7-0 democrat in the first place. That entire school district is pretty liberal. Regardless.......maybe it's evidence of what's to come....but by itself it doesn't really blow my skirt up.

They all benefit from healthcare being utilized by more than just the wealthy. All those businesses would be royally screwed if it was a reality that "health care is only a privilege for the wealthy"

I understand all of that. My history wasn't whitewashed on the dust bowl. Clarifying the overgrazing has zero to do with that.

No question there are many issues that are not positives for the GOP including the ballroom.

Not sure if it will matter come next election or not. I certainly hope so.

But I agree this is not who should be getting this great deal on grazing fees......unfortunately congressional representatives from those States carry a big stick and low grazing fees are always a cheap give away to them in exchange for a vote on something else.

I didn't think overgrazing contributed to the dustbowl. Too much livestock in an area where, due to the lack of crops, they couldn't have been able to feed in the first place?

They overfarmed for sure. plowed up too much land and then it started blowing like hell.

Throughout my life, I have been through many many rural towns that are run down as hell. Rebel flags flying, MAGA signs, etc..in front of very nasty homes occupied by folks who couldn't care less what it looks like.

I've been in urban areas afflicted with some horrible blight. No desire to clean anything up, or show any pride in where they live. Absolutely dismal and hopeless.

Trashy and immoral are pretty good descriptions of it all.

But what I'm seeing isn't based on a vote they cast...but rather a compilation of dozens and dozens of very bad life decisions.

Now, I realize you're focused on a group of folks based entirely on who they voted for....and calling them trashy and immoral for a vote.

I see trashy and immoral differently........it's not a label based on a single vote that I disagree with....but rather on a lifetime spent on very bad choices.

It's not proof of any criminal acts necessarily.......but information they'd prefer stay hidden.
