Despite Gracie's false headline, the article doesn't say anything about an ICE agent being shot but it does say an ICE agent shot someone who is alleged to have driven their vehicle towards the agent.

I hope there is bodycam footage. It would be good to know if there was actual uniformed law enforcement at the scene at the time the stop occurred or was it just some masked thugs in plain clothes. I hear from Trump that Chicago is extremely dangerous so I can see how someone might assume they were being carjacked and tried to flee.

the Democrats and radical leftists have always believed they have an unfettered right to control society and assassinate and control politics and take out any political opposition. How many times have we seen it happen at institutions and to others such as Trump. Sounds like you have extremely stupid friends.

Trump is the weakest President of my lifetime.

I just had a conversation a few days ago with a colleague where I explained to him how a new AI-powered system we recently implemented works. Once he started to understand the purpose of the system he stopped me and said "this sounds like it could eliminate the need for half the people on my team in a few years." I was honest with him and told him it will probably eliminate 90% of his team in less than a year and the entire team in under two years.
It was heartbreaking because this is a person who absolutely loves his job and is extremely loyal to the company. He prides himself on the positive impact he is able to make on the care we deliver to our patients. He is now faced with the reality that this job that gives him so much purpose and supports his family will soon be gone and not just at our company but throughout the entire industry.
He started to lash out at me and I had to remind him that this system was not my creation or even my decision to implement. I also told him that I expect my role will be eliminated by 2030 at the latest. He asked me what would happen if he avoided using the system or fed it bad data. I told him he'd likely be quickly discovered and face disciplinary measures but I appreciate his subversiveness.

The beef situation isn't like eggs where everyone expected the prices to start coming down once avian flu was contained and new egg layers came of age to replace those that were culled. Trump isn't smart enough to understand the complexity of the marker nor is he open to the idea that his actions have made the situation by deporting experienced industry labor and driving up the prices further with tariffs on imports.
