For the second time in less than a month, The DOJ has dropped fraud charges against clients who recently hired Attorney General Pam Biondi's brother Brad to represent them. In the first case the Feds drop charges against a former Florida state rep who was charged with defrauding a Covid-19 relief fund program. In this more recent case the newly appointed AG for the eastern district of Missouri bypassed the career prosecutor who was bring the case and personally asked the court to dismiss charges brought against property developer Sid Chakraverty, his brother, Vic Alston, and their accountant, Shijing "Poppy" Cao for defrauding St. Louis out of more than $3 million in sales tax exemptions and property tax breaks.
The US Attorney's office of Washington DC failed in their attempt to indict Sean Charles Dunn on the charge of felony assault of an officer after Dunn threw a sandwich at a member of Custom and Border protection. It is rare that grand juries decline to indict in DOJ led cases but this is the second time in three days that it has happened to the Jeanine Pirro lead DC office. read more
