Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Sunday, September 07, 2025

The deeply unpopular VPOTUS, JD Vance, does not care if he is called a war criminal"at least not for using the US military to kill suspected drug dealers abroad. That's how the hillbilly vice president responded to criticism when confronted over a US drome strike that killed 11 alleged drug traffickers from Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea. MAGA critic Brian Krassentein called out the vapid VP on X, writing, "Killing the citizens of another nation who are civilians without any due process is called a war crime." The empty suit JD Vance responded to him about the repugnant and illegal Extra-Judicial Killing (XJK): "I don't give a s--t what you call it."

Quite presidential and professional isn't he, the transvestite multimillionaire VPOTUS who attended prestigious Yale Law School on a generous scholarship, but in 2021 whined that higher education was "the enemy." The thoroughly disliked JD Vance and his wife Usha, who have already enjoyed several vacations this year, have been humiliated everywhere they go, from the Kennedy Center to the UK to Greenland to Vermont, and one can easily see why. At one point in history, who knows when, the ICC is going to indict members of the bloodthirsty Dummkopf Trumpf junta for war crimes, just like Benjamin Netanyahu, Vladimir Putin, and Rodrigo Duterte. Moreover, the UN should consider convening the annual UNGA meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, because the Trumpf junta has been denying diplomatic visas to "undesirables," like Palestinians and Venezuelans. The neutral Swiss would not commit such an egregious diplomatic breach and would welcome the influx of money to their already prosperous mountain enclave.

Vance has made it clear: he can and does lie egregiously without any control mechanism telling him there's anything untoward about it.
He is, simply put, a pathological liar.

Naturally, Republicans cheer when America kills "suspected" drug dealers with no trial and no evidence.

Just like they cheered when Breonna Taylor was gunned down in her own bed.

' "suspected" drug dealers'

The available video was so short. I couldn't see if that boat had a cooler.

I think that these people may have been partying and joyriding.

There's as much evidence for that as anything Trump says.

Pretty damned sad.

Some perspective

It is patently ridiculous that 11 people on a speedboat were trafficking drugs. Simply no room for the drugs

A speedboat is far more likely to be involved in human trafficking, you know innocent people

boat was on its way to Trenidad, NOT the US. In fact, it would be impossible for a speed boat to reach the US from Venezuela

Tren de Agua is not a drug gang

Cocaine from Venezuela doesn't come to America

This intel came from the same group that told us Iraq had yellow cake

This administration cannot be trusted to tell us the truth

------- thought an obvious doctored photo of MS13 was real

Trafficking drugs is not a capital offense

Using -------'s logic he can now kill people on American soil without any imminent threat, oh wait he hasn't even dared to provide ANY legal justification

These are all facts

Trump is a mass Murderer.

He killed Quasem Soleimani,an illegal Murder; In his first term.

Now this,11 people killed for no reason other than Trump wants to look Tough.

Lock him Up.

Sarvis has made it clear he doesn't understand the english language or American law.

Vances response was "I don't give a s--t what YOU call it."
Its a complete sentence, to be understood as he doesn't care what the Krassentein poster was calling it.

Simply put, you, Snoofy and LiesHurts are illiterate and ignorant of American law.

Vances position is the Cartel Marque and Reprisal Authorization Act of 2025

Its amazing how you guys come out so confident EVERYTIME, yet can't read or even understand what your government is allows.

You truly are so genuinely stupid at such a profound level it boggles the mind. Google can't begin to save you.

Let me help: the "Cartel Marque and Reprisal Authorization Act of 2025" that you cited is not law. It hasn't' been passed by the Senate. It hasn't been signed by the pResident.

And you are a liar, as always.

Privateers used against the Cartels? I'd like to see how that works without robbing and killing innocent people?

#12 | Posted by Zed at 2025-09-07 11:11 AM | Reply

There isn't a chance in hell the people killed in that boat were drug traffickers.

It's going to take time before anyone finds out the truth about this incident.

Whoever they were, they posed a personal threat to Trump or someone Trump is loyal to.

The Trump administration is obviously doing this for hyper-cynical reasons, but it looks like it's successfully playing many of its opponents like a violin. It's pretty much the same playbook that Bush-Cheney used, just far more open about conflating the WoT and WoD.

"Privateers used against the Cartels?"

So, what's your solution? Other than that, direct involvement, or doing nothing?

#16 | Posted by sentinel at 2025-09-07 11:33 AM | Reply

Doing Nothing.

That's the best option.

If Americans want Drugs, they have the money to find suppliers.

Just let em' buy their Drugs.

Lot of money in Drugs.

What's the Score Einstein? Name that Tune.

Privateers on the open seas being pirates and worse?

Or just letting people have their drugs?

If it's adults using, who Cares?

Social control isn't working out too well.

I think open legal piracy is worse than junkies shooting up.

How Am I Wrong?

So, what's your solution? Other than that, direct involvement, or doing nothing?

You have to address both supply and demand,.
It can't be emotionally driven. It has to be fact based and evidence based.
Get the religious/moralizing bullshht out of the way.
Public health has to be primary - not criminalization, not prison, for users.
We need drug courts, police need to get out of the "law enforcement" mindset and into the "policing" mindset. That means less prison and more programs for drug addition.

Enforcement needs to be specific and targeted at high level drug traffickers, not at the low-level, for criminal prosecution and interdiction. We've been at this a long time and it's pretty clear what doesn't work. There are things that do work better, and that's what I've listed above, IMHO.

Blowing up a boat of unknown people with shifting storied about what they were, refusing to give any evidence for the claim that they were "transporting drugs" (obvious lie), were drug traffickers (11 people all together on one boat and not enough room for drugs, and not even one name released? Another lie), human traffickers (huh? - that excuse didn't last long, so we can ignore that one), or refugees heading to the US (not the direction they were going) doesn't cut it. This was not about any actual drug dealing.

It was theater and those unknown people were used as props for Trump's delusions of grandeur. As it is, Trump's act is a crime.

Pull them over. Do the hard police work involved in tracking them to their source. Attack the source.

Do the hard work of reducing the demand and addiction in America.

Blowing them up solved nothing. If they are smugglers you just taught them not to smuggle that way. The smugglers just change routes and methods. But if the demand was significantly reduced the smuggling would reduced. Legislation is an option but requires the hard intensive work to reduce addiction and the underlying reasons for people self medicating and becoming addicted.

California's legalization of cannabis has significantly reduced the supply of foreign cannabis to the US, particularly from Mexico.

Mexican cannabis market declines: A study from the University of San Diego found a direct correlation between the percentage of the US population with access to legal cannabis and a decrease in the amount of cannabis seized at the US-Mexico border.

Seizure numbers fall: Seizures of illicit cannabis at US borders fell by over 80% between 2009 and 2020. This indicates a major disruption to the foreign supply chain as US consumers shifted toward legally produced domestic products.

"Legislation" should have been "Legalization"

Which I suppose would also require legislation.

#19-21, if it were only about drugs, you guys might have a point, but more astute people know it's not. The cartels have been involved in mass murder, kidnappings and extortions on an international scale, and it's gotten much worse during and since the pandemic. The current admin apparently picked a soft target for theatrics, and to troll people into defending the activity of the cartels. It appears to be working.

And simpletons will buy into Trump's theatrics and trolling. They'll laugh. That's how we've lost this republic to fascism.
Not because good people "fall" for the trolling. It's because the trolling that involves killing people randomly is excused by moral reprobates that can't think past the end of their ignorant noses.
