I offered just as much commentary on the topic of this post as you did, which is nothing.

You obviously think state taxes are relevant to something since you were commenting on them the other day so I figured I'd just ask you again to clarify how much is "a lot" with regard to Howard Schultz's Washington state income taxes?

Bellringer, I assume you aren't actually interested in discussing this article since you offered none of your own commentary on it.

I'll use this opportunity to ask if people think US intelligence failed so badly that Trump was serious when he recently said in response to a question about Iran attacking neighboring states that "They weren't supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East. Nobody expected that. We were shocked."
If you don't think US intelligence failed at that level then why did Trump make such a statement? Was he simply lying to try to avoid blame? Is he of such diminished capacity that he doesn't remember being told that such attacks were an expected reaction from Iran? Some other reason?

Doesn't matter if he doesn't sign it. It automatically becomes law in 10 days if he doesn't sign it. It only matters if he vetos the bill and there are enough votes in the senate to easily override the veto. The only body that block this bill now is the House and that's not going to happen unless House Republicans are in near unanimous opposition. If they block this bill they will be hung with it in November when Democrats will be telling Millennials and Gen Z how Republicans voted to keep home ownership out of reach for average Americans.

Joe Kent is not a Biden holdover. He is Trump's handpicked selection for the job. In 2022, with Trump's endorsement, he primaried the incumbent US Rep in Washington's 3rd district only to lose the seat in the general in 2022. He also won the nomination with Trump's endorsement in 2024 but again lost in the general.

Considering how much he claims to oppose censorship I'm sure Bellringer will be along any minute to denounce the administration for using death threats to censor Americans.

Trump supporters, I have a question to ask of you.

What would your reaction had been if Joe Biden started a war with another country which resulted in friendly nations being attacked and Biden claimed no one had any idea the attacked nation would respond in such fashion even though the attacked nation has done exactly that in the past and publicly warned the world they would do it if attacked again?

Would you be saying that Biden was incompetent? Would you claim that dementia clouded his mind to the point where he could not be trusted to make national security decisions? Would you claim he had allowed US intelligence to degrade to a point where the administration was putting the country at risk? Would you be calling for his removal from office?

I ask this question because what I described is exactly what has happened with Iran only the president is named Trump instead of Biden.

In June of 2025 Iran attacked Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern countries after the US bombed locations purported to be nuclear facilities. In January of this year, it was widely reported that Iran publicly warned other nations in the region that they would strikes within their countries if attacked by the US. In response, Qatar very publicly let it be known that US resources were being moved out of Udeid Air Base in an effort to dissuade Iran from striking it. Despite that, Iran attacked the base a week ago.

We are supposed to trust Trump with national security secrets but he can't even be trusted with private health info?
