I want you know that I've learned a lot over the years from the experience you've shared with us. Your posts have resulted in my development of greater understanding and acceptance of others. I've grown to be good friends with quite a few trans/gender non-conforming people who I likely would have never met had you not shared your story with us.

I strongly oppose conversion therapy but I consider this to be a good ruling. Even if SCOTUS had tried to craft a very narrow ruling to uphold the Colorado law, we'd immediate have other states pointing to it to justify bans on many conversations between patient and provider. There would be states targeting gender affirming care, race, abortion, birth control, vaccinations, child/spouse/elder/sex abuse, etc. Pick any topic that gets the right-wing culture police clutching their pearls and you'd see some state trying to regulate it.
The risk averse healthcare and insurance industries would respond by ceasing any discussions or treatments that looked like they may be close to the legal gray area such laws would create.

Trump supporters don't care. They love crime so much that they voted for a criminal.

Evidentiary Fact has a liberal bias... which is why no rwinger will ever accept the evidence about Trump.

He was convicted of 34 felonies and found liable for a sex crime and they still denied it and voted for him.

Then let the gulf states spend their own money and lives to do it. This is an illegal war and Trump should be impeached and prosecuted for it.

The Government still hasn't taken responsibility for using ICE to murder American citizens.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this war has still not yet been authorized by Congress, the body given the exclusive power to do so by the Constitution.
Congress needs to address the illegality of this was before they address funding.

There is no reason to trust anything that Trump says.

If he can actually do such a thing, I have to ask, what took him so long to do so?

Vance's fantasy about Omar is no different than the DoJ's baseless investigation into Jerome Powell. If you aren't a fully committed cult member then you must be a criminal and if you are a cult member then you will be pardoned for being a criminal.

The DoJ is so corrupt now that they are paying off admitted criminals because said criminals supports Trump. Justice is dead in America.

Sounds like the prosecution may have a hard time making the case. Refusal to submit to a urine test in Florida can be used against you and Tiger's previous arrest hurts his case but I'm sure Tiger can find a doctor that would testify that he was concussed from the accident and the cops confused those symptoms with intoxication. My guess, plea to reckless driving and avoid a DUI charge like he did after his 2017 arrest. Hopefully this time they will suspend his license. I mean it's not like he can't afford a driver.

Now, that's not a way to NOT call Trump a liar. He lied. Period. No point is minimizing it by suggesting he was naive or his heart was in the right place but should have known congress wouldn't go for it, etc.....LOL

That's not what I'm suggesting. This wasn't an unfulfilled campaign promise or some nebulous policy statement delivered at the state of the union that can be spun to mean something else or blamed on the opposition party for something not occurring.
It was a clear statement that a fully detailed plan existed and would soon be delivered for Congressional debate. Had his statement been true then I think it may have been politically feasible. Republicans in Congress would have loved to replace Obama's biggest legislative victory with something from their party and I think quite a few Democrats would have been receptive to negotiations had a plan be presented that would actually provide coverage for everyone while lowering deductibles.
Trump lied and the GOP Congress did nothing. Meanwhile the healthcare industry put a lot of long term decisions on hold while we waited to see what the new President was bringing to the table.
Trump is still repeating the lie to this day. The White House even went as far as releasing "The Great Healthcare Plan" earlier this year. Have you read it? It is laughable. It's no plan at all. That plan that we were told was completely formulated and ready to introduce 10 years ago is nothing more than a single page of catchphrases and platitudes so Trump can tell his cult devotees that he delivered something. He will try to blame Democrats for it's failure and some on this site will buy his line despite it not being anywhere close to being draft legislation or even a framework for a comprehensive plan. Meanwhile problems 2 & 3, the GOP lead House and Senate, will continue to take no leadership on the issue and just keep deferring to Trump like they've done for a decade.

If you believe that the mess our healthcare system is in is the fault of the Republicans, you have a very simplistic view of the issues involved. There are many competing interests, the entire political class is just one.

While the GOP is not solely responsible, I hope you would at least acknowledge the Party's intransigence on the issue.
They currently hold majorities in both houses of Congress as well as the the White House yet they've offered no alternative to the current system other than raising costs on 22 million Americans by stripping ACA subsidies. It's been more than a decade since Donald Trump promised to deliver a comprehensive plan to replace ACA. It was in January of 2016 when Trump said his plan would provide "insurance for everybody" and "much lower deductibles" was "very much formulated down to the final strokes" and would be announced right after his Secretary of HHS received confirmation. That plan was never introduced and Republicans have spent the past decade doing next to do nothing on the issue.

When asked what false statements Powell is suspected of making, Deputy US Attorney Andrew Massucco replied "Well, we don't know." Then when asked what evidence the DoJ has to support an investigation into fraud or misconduct, Massucco replied "we do not know at this time."

It appears they are launching a criminal probe for no other reason than Powell disagrees with Trump on lowering interest rates.

Walmart purchased Vizio a few years back so they already have access to your data if you are using a Vizio account.

The government failed to indict her 3 times last year. There have been entire years where the DOJ did not have that many failures. This must be some sort of record.

We've already replaced the job of first lady with an bitter, angry android.

We need to reduce the cost, not just shift them to third and fourth party payers.
