'Miraculous': Charlie Kirk's group says bullet couldn't fully go through 'man of steel'

If you needed evidence of what a ridiculous lie that all was, look no further than the supposed surgeon claiming to have operated on many wounds from a 30-06. Pure garbage. Couple that with the unlikelihood of Kirk even seeing a surgeon and, well ...

If this gains any level of traction it will be hilarious to me because it will highlight the lack of knowledge among the right of modern ballistics and bullet design. If the bullets shown were the ones in the gun, they're hunting rounds that are tipped with hardened penetrators whose sole purpose is to mushroom the round so it stops and dumps the maximum amount of energy into the target.

This tracks with the impact seen on Kirk, the huge ripple seen passing through his clothing and his immediate posturing indicating brain stem injury from a lower neck wound. All that energy passed up his neck and damaged his brain/upper spine while obliterating the vasculature in his neck (hence the immediate catastrophic blood loss). All of it expected with a modern, large caliber hunting round.

There are anecdotes from WWII of soldiers surviving being shot in roughly the same spot with the high caliber rounds of the time (30-06 being the US' main battle rifle rounds) that were full metal jacket. The bullets passed through creating a channel the size of the bullet because they weren't designed to expand or tumble upon hitting a target. An easily referenced one was a paratrooper featured in Band of Brothers with the last name Blithe.
