I am of two minds of this...

I've been saying(not here) that "this" was going to happen.

separating ICE from the individual ICE officer is important. I support fully the protesting the mission of ICE. What don't support is the social media rallying cry of disrupting the activities of the individual officers. I've seen calls to "SWAT" ICE when they are seen... How is getting gov't agents with guns to respond to "masked men with guns" reports not eventually going to end in bloodshed?

ICE has plenty of bad actors but I don't believe that all the agents are bad, and being doxxed and harrassed through every workday will have a mental toll on the good ones, and give justification to the bad ones.

This all lead to this. It feels like she was trying to act as a disruptor and this was an inevitable outcome at somepoint... she happened to be the one.

The rhetoric has to come down on engaging against the individual agents, and be focused against the ICE mission and tactics in general.

This isn't meant to be damning or exonerating... I just haven't seen a definitive answer.

Most of the "direct quotes" were plucked from pretty cordial debates and the quotes used to claim he was saying something quite different than when in the context of the debate. That's not to say I agree with all his takes, but I do think the quotes were used to paint a much darker image of him than he actually was. I don't agree with a lot of his takes, comically though the damning quotes were usually points I had less of an issue with. Fun with quotes
