As a refresher, Israel was created a part of the UK's larger decolonization project that also laid the groundwork for the creation of a Palestinian state for Arabs in the Levant, alongside another Arab state, Jordan. The Palestinians were the only ones to reject the framework, thinking that instead they could get the whole enchilada. The Palestinians who didn't flee make up around 20% of Israeli citizens. Arab Palestinian Israelis.

It sounded to me like Pritzker was looking for something to charge the agents with. They are Federal Officers. I suppose you could accuse individuals at the city or state level, but it would not be as effective as doing it at the Federal level.

The people shooting the lasers? That's no different than shooting a gun or MANPAD. The intent is the use of violence to inflict loss of vision. I can't imagine why you would defend this. The only think I can think of is that you don't think lasers are dangerous, so who cares what type of aircraft is lased?
