One local pediatric clinic will not accept patients that are not being vaccinated. For exactly this reason. Before clamoring with 'gotchya', they have a special entrance and waiting area for kids that are immunocompromised and cannot receive vaccines.

They already are, almost 17% are below the poverty line, compared to NE 9.9%.

Now that the teams and matches have been released you can purchase tickets on resale sites. Generally $300 to 2200 depending on teams and round. Too much for my blood, yet it looked like most venues are already almost sold out.

I looked at purchasing a package for games in Seattle. Don't get to choose the specific games or teams. For 3 games it would be 10's of thousands of dollars.

But Trump said he spoke with both leaders and the cease fire was in place. Since they did stop shooting for a couple of hours will this still count as another was solved?

Was he allowed to carry a weapon as an ICE agent? If so, that is a monumental failure in the vetting process.

Food processing plants apply it to sanitize surfaces and equipment. Hospitals use it to sterilize medical devices, and some municipalities use low levels to treat public water supplies. Paper mills rely on it to whiten wood pulp. We all know that people in those industries are so much healthier than others.

Looks like it is good to be above the Mason Dixon line. I think I'll die of not surprise.

FTA - "divisive political messaging." Cowardly archbishop. What have we been hearing from MAGA preachers and before that the 'moral majority'. I'm glad to see progressive ministers and priests starting to push back.

Good to see Vernon's calculator in use. What's a few zeros among friends?

FTA-Noem goes on to call Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz "wacko", stating he "either is an idiot or did it on purpose," when talking about the alleged fraudulent visas. She continued by saying she believes Walz is "both."
Didn't know states were in the business of issuing or monitoring VISAs. Can't blame the Biden administration as most have been here for years.

It befuddles me how vets get taken in by these firms. There are lists of dozens of organizations that will do the advocacy work for free. These are in addition to the VSOs embedded with every county seat. Don't confuse these companies that 'assist' veteran's getting benefits with companies that contract with the VA to do the disability exams and paperwork processing of claims. They get paid by the VA and not by the Veteran.

Some one here said the physicians are guilty of malpractice. Looks like they found themselves having to choose between monetary losses or doing hardtime due to a zealous prosecutor. Did they make an intentional choice, I don't know. I know for certain if faced to make that type of choice I would be leaving the state for a better practice environment.

All the OBs should just leave Texas. AI provides better care anyway.

I suspect what will come out soon is that the departments that should have been monitoring and controlling these programs had their budgets cut. You know, by the "I hate government folks."

When weed gets even remotely close to alcohol or tobacco in annual deaths then I might get concerned. Agree with Donnerboy.

I quit going a few years ago. Getting the Veteran's discount was a hastle. Then the last visit there was only self service open, despite three people standing around the check out area to monitor. I waited a bit, they ignored me, so I left my stuff and said I wasn't an employee and wouldn't risk getting a shop lifting charge if I messed it up.

Hundreds of thousands; more Trump (Vernon) math. Serious question, does a Governor have a greater role in settling refugees than the federal government?

"Double up on house notes whenever you can"
That means you pay next month's principal. Requires getting an amortization schedule. Cuts your mortgage time in half and your interest paid greatly. Paid off our house in 8 years on a 15 year mortgage. Means you don't buy as much house as you possible can. When we were shopping for a mortgage, we were told we were eligible for more than a million dollar mortgage. We bought a home (our third) for 180K. We had 50K of equity to use for the downpayment. So, no PMI and making the house payments was relatively easy. At the same time we paid off our education loans. Paid cash for cars, never carried credit card debt. Modest means growing up and no trust fund. Even a liberal can pull it off.
