Actually 'Cops & Doughnuts' is a pretty cool place. We've stopped there several times as our youngest son lives just a few miles from Clare, Michigan:

Despite the fact that Trump is not sure whether he needs the approval of Congress, he's already ordered that the marque on the Pentagon be changed from 'Department of Defense; to 'Department of War' (there was a video of an employee scraping off the letters of the word 'Defense' on the news last night).

Trump is now suggesting that when the War Department was changed to the Department of Defense after WWII, that the Pentagon had gone 'woke' and that this cost us victories in Korea and Vietnam:

After the last one? The one with the senior citizens and dei chuckleheads in their wrinkled unisex pajamasmock who couldn't even stay in step?

Were you ever in the service, or more specifically, the Army? Have you ever heard of 'route step'? It's a manner of marching which while the organization of the ranks are maintained, the members are not expected to march in cadence. This is the way you march if you're having to go a long distance, as was the case during the parade in June. I suspect that Trump was expecting something along the lines of what you'd see in Red Square or in North Korea, and perhaps even from some old newsreels of Germany troops marching into Paris during WWII.

And for the record; I was in the Army and I did my share of marching, so I know of what I speak.

Not sure what sort of 'parade' could be held to recognize the Navy's 250th birthday. Perhaps a 'parade' of ships up Chesapeake Bay, or along the shore of Long Island, or maybe passing in review in front of Mar-a-Lago.
