This is true and OK Imo. But what I think happened is there is a truck that passes in front of her at the start of the video. I think the ICE was in pursuit of that truck. Then she pulls out, blocking their progress. They were going to arrest her for obstruction and thats where it goes downhill.

He could have just stepped back from the car rather than going toward it.

The other thing to consider is, given the situation and the driver, he fires at the car endangering his partner who is on the passenger side door.

Same thing in the Ashli case, she wasn't the person actually breaking in, but it was part of a mob banging on the door.
