Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) slammed comedian Dave Chapelle for saying she "weaponized" his jokes about transgender people. "I felt like they were doing a weaponized version of what I was doing. That's not what I was doing," Chappelle told NPR.

I have no problem with mRNA vaccines if people want to subject themselves to it completely voluntarily, without any pressure from society or employers. I'm sure the side effects of it are outweighed by the potential benefits for a small percentage of the population, depending on what it's used for. But you're just as stupid as the Ivermectin people if you think corporations and investors of it haven't been hyping it up to try to push it on the general public for personal gain. Just like AI has been overhyped and integrated into software without fully thinking about the potential long-term consequences.

Concerned about the implementations of AI, cryptocurrencies, bioengineering, predictive markets, etc.? Clearly you must be anti-progressive. Don't ask questions, especially if you don't *have a PhD+ in these areas.

Indeed, that's exactly what the proponents of the things I mentioned thought, if not actually said about them.

"the Israeli's."
The Israeli's what? And which Israeli are you referring to here?

It's a shame that people hate the overuse of electroshock, insulin-shock, and lobotomies. They must be anti-science.

"Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, one of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin's closest allies, allowed his territory to be used for part of Russia's February 2022 invasion of its smaller neighbour."
Doesn't Reuters have editors who understand grammar and clear communication in writing? This is a faulty pronoun that creates ambiguity about whether "its" is intended to refer to Russia or Belarus, unless the readers are already aware that Ukraine is larger than Belarus (which most of them probably aren't).

"The best sitcom of all time."
It was actually a very sharp and witty satire when it first started. It devolved quickly after David Garrison left.

Apparently ClownHack thinks it just magically appears in diapers... or he's being coy here.
And now he's asking me to breathe heavily...
Hard pass.

I have a feeling that after this current saga is over, there's going to be a hard look on what the limits should be for honoring pardons.

"He's flooding his diapers again."
I will never understand why people are so obsessed with Trump's body parts, much less his nether regions. Either you have a fetish for that, or you've fallen under his spell.

"Amazon is Evil. Boycott them. Today."
My uncle used to say the same thing about Walmart.
He's dead now.

Yikes. It sounds like her new son-in-law called them to get rid of her after his father passed away. Sad story all around.

More than 60 percent of Peruvians said Trump's endorsement would matter little to nothing when deciding who to vote for, according to a March poll.
Looks like there's going to be runoff between the daughter of former hardline President Fujimori and another candidate.

Still being translated into English from her native Russian.

Considering that they're changing their president every few weeks now, does it really matter either way?

"Can you believe the president of Mexico is providing all Mexicans with universal healthcare."
That's nice in theory, but many Mexicans will tell you that public hospitals and clinics are useless for preventative or routine care.

I think most agree that it would be a disaster, albeit for different reasons, if the Democrats nominated her again. As for running in the primary, that's fine. It would give a better candidate the chance to knock her out early and gain momentum.
