It's much worse.
That Aztek was only 8% more sales short of breaking even. They sold almost 28k a year, they needed 30k to break even, they projected they would sell 75k annual.
Cybertruck deliveries were just under 39k for 2024, with a goal of 250k annual, they need to sell at least 75k of them to break even with a $15k-$20k gross margin. Some estimates have put it at 200k annual required to break even.
Break even numbers are of course now skyrocketing towards the worst case scenario as Tesla continues to go deeper with the already significant discounts.
