Pacific islands, especially Hawaii, have gourmet local versions of spam. Delicious.

Oxtail can be quite tasty when cooked properly (pressure cooker or dutch oven with a heavy lid is best, or low and slow if you must), if you like the taste of beef.

Well done "peasant" food beats rich people food pretty consistently. Go to fine dining now and it's a bunch of single bites plated extremely nicely.

From Putin's perspective he is one very old man, who could have dropped dead any day, and as long as he has other hardliners in the country to work with, he isn't going to miss that one very old guy. Now, if all the hardliners get killed and replaced by moderates, then Putin will have a problem. In the meantime, he's liking the increase in oil revenue.

Reports are the Iranian leadership is getting the same treatment Hezbollah, but with precision bombs instead of pagers. They're working their way down the chain on the IRCQ, regular army, and civilian government. They even blew up Ahmadinejad.

If you're anti-Russian Hegemony, then you can't really complain with how the theater scale conflict has been going across this and the last administration. Russia's ME axis has been systematically dismantled.

Hezbollah leadership, dead.
Hamas leadership, dead.
Houthi leadership, dead.
Iranian leadership, dead.
Iranian enrichment program, gone.

Meanwhile, in the European theater, Russia is on army #4 and making only ww1 distance gains in Ukraine.

Also this is Austin County. It's majority Hispanic. Neither candidate is one. It has a high % of new voter registrations. They register and then do not vote. It's a tech driven area with a high median household income. That means college educations. In Texas having a higher voter efficacy doesn't mean they vote, often the opposite, as they know their vote doesn't matter. Single party state ----.
