Trans people are mentally ill isn't just an "opinion" to Republicans.

That is a verified medical scientific fact. But only to Republicans. Us normal people recognize it as one of many Republican Alternative Facts.

But they'll soften up their Alternate Facts to mere "opinions" when their beliefs cause others to judge them and un-friend them.

And now they're the victims again. Being punished and ostracized for their "opinions."

And this:

A President asking a Secretary of State to find 12,000 votes is likewise without precedent.

As was mentioned, the dismissal does not speak to the merits of the case. It's because:

"There is no realistic prospect
that a sitting President will be compelled to appear in Georgia to stand trial on the
allegations in this indictment."

"The claim the Prosecutor made to the Judge was that it would cost too much and take years to try."

And that it would be impossible to expect the President to stand trial in Georgia.

There was no comment on the merits of the case in the dismissal.

But there is nonsense like this, from the motion to dismiss.

"I begin the process of evaluating this case with a basic truth: It is not illegal to question or
challenge election results."

That is a ridiculous description of what Trump was doing on that phone call.

"So that makes it okay to engage in medical malfunction practice because the affected population is a low enough number by your accounting?"

You haven't actually established that gender affirming care is medical malpractice.

Viagra and Botox are gender affirming care. Do they need to be banned too? Or do you only have a problem with gender affirming for trans people?

This $100 fee on foreign guests will bring down attendance numbers.

Then Republicans will point to low attendance, and say National Parks are a waste of taxpayer money and should be privatized or sold off.

If Democrats would quit shooting at people gun violence would go down 90%!

Holler back when you're prepared to repeal the Second Amendment. We could reduce gun violence by Democrats if Republicans would simply take their guns away. But you won't.

This part of D.C. is full of high end law offices and lobbyists. Not a place the National Guard would really find anything to protect from looters, like a grocery store.

It is an attack.

Fascists will never, ever admit that the children are actually the ones who know what's best for the children.

Perhaps no issue in modern society is more divisive or emotional than whether children should receive sex-change treatments.

It's a ginned up phony wedge issue, only ever brought up by fascists, to boost fascist engagement.

Fascists always need an out-group to malign and marginalize.

Trans people are one such group.

Funny how this is common knowledge for us liberals and Democrats, but Republicans still deny it.

The President called for various late night talk show hosts to be taken off the air.

And for a while there, a few networks were heeding the President's call.

That's another example you can't comment on.

"I remember when the Fairness Doctrine was in place."

Yep. I remember when local media stations were run by locals, not all part of a syndicate like Sinclair Broadcasting, disseminating the same propaganda across their entire network.
