Speak,
Manafort? Yeah terrible pick. But calling him a "Russian asset" is a stretch. Even Mueller didn't go that far. He was a shady lobbyist with sketchy ties but if that makes someone a "Russian asset", DC is full of them. Manafort wasn't a Russian asset but he was a corrupt lobbyist with dirty foreign ties and tax fraud convictions. Trump hiring him was dumb, not treason.
As for Crimea, the U.S. never recognized Russia's annexation, not under Trump, not under Biden. Obama let Crimea fall without doing a thing, so maybe spare the selective outrage.
No. Hillary didn't make Trump choose Manafort. But she sure helped kick off a smear campaign that fed the illusion of collusion which you're still parroting.

What made manafort a terrible pick then?
Before trump hired him to be his campaign manager, manafort worked installing putin puppets in democracies across europe. What would you call that?
Reminder - manafort was 17 million in debt to russia, yet charged trump NOTHING. Of course mueller was banned from looking into trump's financial ties to putin.
The GOP did - Not MAGA. Learn the difference -------.

There is no difference anymore -------. You let your whole party be overthrown by the world's most obvious con man, who funded his businesses with russian loans, partied with epstein for years, is the opposite of every biblical teaching, and blew up the deficit to give money to the rich.
