Trump's Willing Accomplice

Peter Wehner: Chris Sununu just showed how deep into the Republican Party the rot has gone.

FTA:

Given all Trump has done, and given all we know, the claim that Joe Biden"whatever his failures, whatever his limitations, whatever his age"poses a greater threat to the republic than Donald Trump is delusional.

If I heard Sununu correctly (I did) he now supports Trump because he now sees this as the most direct way to power.

These aren't men. They're ambitious mice.

There is not ONE singular Republican that I can still
point to, and say, 'there goes a man of principle, there
goes an ethical human being'.

The rot is complete. It has devoured the entire party.

Sununu doesn't like Trump's personality but that's a small hurdle to get over when we are talking Biden's failed policies especially when we are seeing what is happening around the world. Biden's administration is simply dangerous.

There are a few reasons for people being pro trump.
1) They are fearful and angry and Faux has been telling them for 40 years that this is because of Democratic policies when in fact it was supply side economics.
2) They are fearful and angry because they are racist xenophobes. Again, Faux and others have been encouraging this for 40 years.
3) They are christianists who have bizarre notions on the civil rights of women. And their pastors have figured out some cool ways to increase their own power and wealth.
4) They are sociopaths and care more about tax cuts and deregulation so they can continue to eviscerate workers rights and the environment in pursuit of profits. This 3rd group is the Sununus and McConnels, and all the Never Trumpers who are starting to come around and rejoin the Trump train.

"... Biden's administration is simply dangerous. ..."

Yes, Biden's policies are dangerous for the super rich and the corporations who want to continue to eviscerate workers rights and the environment.
And Biden's policies are dangerous to those who want to stop Putin from starting WW3.

Re 5&6

Yup.

Biden's policies are super dangerous for some local union workers.

Especially the Bigots, Thieves and Scoundrels Union local 12.

There is a reason there is no Republican Party platform, one that is embraced by Trump, for to tell the truth they would have to reveal their own devotion to what Putin wants, and their devotion to elevating Ameriica's oligarch class to the status of gods. And then there is the White Nationalist Christian thing....

"... Biden's administration is simply dangerous. ..."

I love it when the poorly educated comment like this almost as much as when Donny Dementia makes the comment "This would not have happened if I were in office!"

It's just like when people said 9/11 would not have happened if Gore was in office.

All of it are not provable speculation based on feelings and no fact.
