Putin's Soldiers Barricade Women's Prison

In a bid to evade the advancing Ukrainian forces, a group of Russian soldiers in Kursk barricaded themselves inside a women's prison.

These Russian cowards will come out and give themselves up soon enough. Between the daily sexual assaults by the lady inmates, no food will be delivered to the facility. Upon emerging, the Ukraine forces will allow the inmates a gun, a bullet and a Russian soldier, and then their freedom ...

I was doing a National Tour of a stage production, and while in Alabama, a local contact was driving me to a radio interview one morning.

Turns out, her prior job was a guard at a women's prison. Her take really stunned me:

"Oh, the women are much worse than the men. Usually, they'll get leniency for being a woman, or having a child, so if you end up in jail, you're really, really awful."

I guess you learn something new every day.

Russia, Ukraine swap 115 prisoners each

... Russia and Ukraine exchanged 115 prisoners of war from each side on Saturday after the United Arab Emirates acted as an intermediary.

It is the first such exchange since Ukraine launched a surprise attack into Russia's Kursk region on Aug. 6, the biggest attack inside Russian territory by a foreign power since World War Two.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian servicemen swapped were captured in the Kursk region.

All released Russian soldiers are now in Belarus and will receive medical treatment and rehabilitation upon their return to Russia.

The ministry expressed gratitude for the UAE's role in facilitating the prisoner swap.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy posted a picture with Ukrainian POWs wrapped in the country's blue and yellow flags and hugging each other. He said that the returned were servicemen from the border guards, the national guard, navy and the armed forces. ...

Once met a guy who was hired to repair the roof on a women's prison.

It was only one wing but he could see women in other wings with such thirsty looks he suspected that given the chance they would boink him to death.
