In a call with donors, First Liberty Institute's Kelly Shackelford read the supportive email he said came from Thomas. The leader of the religious-rights group also labeled Justice Elena Kagan "treasonous" for backing a stronger ethics code.

She only has a high paying job because people with business before the court hire Ginny as a legal way to funnel bribes to Clearance. There are two pigs slurping at that trough, reform would take all that away and they'd have to live like paupers on the measly $268,300 salary of an Associate Justice. They would have to take up residence in Clearance's $267,000 luxury motor home in the local Walmart parking lot because they couldn't afford lot rent. Why, they'd be destitute, weeks away from living in a box in a DC back alley.
