FTA:

Trump has already signaled the kind of president he will be: revengeful, uncontrolled and unburdened by past norms and current laws. I won't go through the litany of awful things he's pledged to do, since that's been well-established with his words, Project 2025 plans and excellent analyses from authoritarian experts.

Looking into an even more destabilized future is not easy. If you're like me, you're already tired. The prospect of more drama is daunting. But authoritarianism isn't going away no matter the election results. So here's some thinking about ways to orient so we can ground ourselves better for these times ahead.

I'll be munching popcorn on my side of the border. It will be interesting to see what the actual economic results will be.

It's hilarious how Trumpers 'think' they've won something after electing what Presidential Historians consider one of the very Worst Presidents Ever.

History will be pointing and laughing at them for generations to come.

I got out of the stock market in the late summer. I'd rather be out early than stay in too long. It's going to crash bad under Trump. My retirement was directly tied to my stocks.
Once Vlad expands his invasions to other countries and WW3 starts, there will be a global financial crash.

It only takes two steps ...

Step 1

Find the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can, and wisdom to know the difference.

Step 2

Don't actually stop drinking and or vaping (but obviously say that you have).

Got all my retirement money out of stocks Thursday after the election. That's worked out.
