The PLO supported and trained the IRA from 1970s until the cease fire. Sinn Fein, which just had great results in the last Irish election, is unlikely to forget that solidarity.

IRA was Northern Ireland and this is Ireland, but yes I get it. Sinn Fein didn't do "that" great in the last Irish Election but they are well represented.
