Repug Star Witness Pleads Guilty

Justice Department special counsel David Weiss indicted an ex-FBI informant on Thursday evening for allegedly lying about President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden's involvement with Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm. Alexander Smirnov, 43, was arrested on Wednesday at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas after a federal grand jury in California returned the indictment. His arrest and charges was a major setback for House Republicans' ongoing impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, as GOP investigators have touted Smirnov's claims for months.

Well, and then after conviction Trump will just Pardon him... if he can come up with a significant donation.

They only come out from under the rocks to bite you when they have a gotcha thread. Or they just cannot think of any good insults or outrageous things to say. But Robsonbot may likely stop by to ramble on nonsensically about something entirely unrelated.

Naw. They will probably ignore this thread. Pretend that it never happened. And even probably deny it happened later. And invent five new lies and push several new conspiracies or appoint someone who is ridiculously not qualified for a cabinet post to deflect the news cycle and attention away.

It will be forgotten and overcome by events by this time next week. Or so they hope.
