Trump Falsely Suggested New Orleans Suspect was an Immigrant

The president-elect said on social media that he was right about fearing criminals on the other side of the border. Officials later identified the suspect as a U.S.-born citizen and Army veteran.

🚨 Reports indicate that the attacker responsible for driving into a crowd in New Orleans' French Quarter, resulting in 10 deaths and 30 injuries, is 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, an American citizen and U.S. Army veteran born and raised in Texas.

He hasn't retracted it, and the MAGA on TV are going with it tooth and nail.

Trump Seeks to Link New Orleans Attack to Illegal Immigration

... President-elect Donald Trump sought to connect the New Orleans New Year's Day terrorist attack to his tough-on-immigration doctrine weeks before he's set to retake the White House -- a sign that his stance on cross-border migration will include the flow of ideas and not just the physical movement of people.

"With the Biden Open Border's Policy' I said, many times during Rallies, and elsewhere, that Radical Islamic Terrorism, and other forms of violent crime, will become so bad in America that it will become hard to even imagine or believe. That time has come, only worse than ever imagined," Trump wrote Thursday on Truth Social.

Trump insinuated the perpetrator in the New Orleans attack was a foreign-born individual who had crossed the border from Mexico. However, investigators have named Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a US citizen who served in the Army, as a suspect and said he was likely radicalized by terrorist group ISIS. Authorities said they discovered an ISIS flag with the Ford pickup truck that barreled through the crowd. ...

Doesn't matter. His mouth breathers swallowed that load and that's all they are going to remember.

There is no excuse, Dotard is getting security briefings, he knew before almost anyone that this terrorist, in spite of his chosen name, was a Texas born US Army veteran. Putin's portable pud pit is using this to support his day one "promise" to close the border and do a mass deportation which will create a massive smoke screen for him and Elmo to raid the treasury.

- a mass deportation which will create a massive smoke screen for him and Elmo to raid the treasury.

After they raid the Treasury, they'll say they have to cut SS and Medicare for the difference.

Which is genuinely the Oldest Trick in the Est Republican Playbook, and MAGAs don't even grok it.

Oh when will you ever learn?"
