Oooooooo That's gonna leave a mark. Wait until Musk and Trump are alone.

"The president's message represents the first significant move to narrow Musk's mandate. According to Trump's new guidance, DOGE and its staff should play an advisory role " but Cabinet secretaries should make final decisions on personnel, policy and the pacing of implementation.

Musk joined the conversation and indicated he was on board with Trump's directive. According to one person familiar with the meeting, Musk acknowledged that DOGE had made some missteps " a message he shared earlier this week with members of Congress."'

'

He must of seen his poll numbers to have had created this charade. Nothing will change; these Cabinet members were picked for their loyalty, not their brains.

And what excuse is there for not doing it this way to begin with AND running it through their Republican Congress just to make it legal?

None.

"Donald Trump's laughable first address to Congress Tuesday night was his least popular ever, garnering one of the least enthusiastic reactions for a president's first address to the chamber in the last two decades, according to a CNN poll,

Apparently, only 44 percent of viewers had a very positive reaction to the president's address. Twenty-five percent had a somewhat positive reaction, and 31 percent had a negative reaction."

AND he's losing more Court cases:

Judge orders reinstatement of Gwynne Wilcox to National Labor Relations Board after her removal by US president.

That it took Donald this long to take such an obvious step is a testament to his incapacity and weakness.

THEN... at the end of his Presser today he said this:

So, he's talking in circles again, lie to lie.

Breaking News:

President Trump has placed Elon Musk on Double Secret Probation.

#6 | Posted by snoofy at 2025-03-06 06:25 PM

Maybe the court losses of what Mr Musk has been doing have raised an issue within the White House?

And this event is just Pres Trump Trump acknowledging that his actions have been illegal?

Stop and think for a moment. We already know that we can't believe a word Trump says.

Therefore, this is probably a move by Trump to scapegoat his Cabinet Secretaries to get the heat off Musk and himself.

I suspect Trump saw his poll numbers going down and needed to extricate himself from the situation.

What better way than to pass the blame to someone else, i.e. scapegoats.

@#8 ..., Therefore, this is probably a move by Trump to scapegoat his Cabinet Secretaries to get the heat off Musk and himself. ...

I think you may be on to something.

I mean, when has Pres Trump ever taken responsibility for something he has done, when he failed at doing that thing?

Pres Trump always seems to want to push the blame to others for his failings.

Shriekback - This Big Hush (1985)
www.youtube.com

Lyrics excerpt ...
genius.com

...
[Verse]
Is there a fire in the sky?
Is there a moon up there?
Is there anything alive now?
This darkness is what I hear
This is a breathless silence
A moment out of time
I see your face in the shadows
The telltale signs are in your eyes

[Chorus]
More than I can hold in my hands
Running through the gaps like water
Aching with a passion inside
Deep as the river
All desire, the ashes and the fire
Turning this night inside and the light from you

[Verse]
Is there a flame in the dark?
Is there a bright hard star?
These creatures look the same now
We freeze wherever we are

We wake alone in the blackness
We sleep wherever we fall
One dream all around us
This big hush infects us all

[Chorus]
Holding up on animal fear
Soaking up the waves underwater
Turned to music no one can hear
Forever in this half light

All desire, the ashes and the fire
Turning this night inside and the light from you
All desire, the ashes and the fire
Turning this night inside and the light from you

More than I can hold in my hands
Running through the gaps like water
Aching with a passion inside
Deep as the river

All desire, the ashes and the fire
Turning this night inside
All desire, the ashes and the fire
Turning this night inside
Turning this night inside
Turning this night inside and the light from you
...

Yeah, they don't write lyrics like that anymore ...

Have Trump and Vance told Musk he's violating the dignity of the Oval Office by wearing the same stupid shirts all the time?

#11 | Posted by Dbt2 at 2025-03-07 09:36 AM

And, of course, American voters will believe that Leon (and by extension, Trump) had nothing to do with the mass firings, cheap tariff threats, chaos in the capital markets or the other mind-bending events of the past seven weeks. I'm sure that everyone will blame it on Biden...

Of course none of Trump's cabinet appointees is significantly more trustable than Musk is. And if they don't do ask Musk says Trump will just replace them with someone who will; how many cabinet appointees did Trump burn through last term?

This is all just show to give a veneer of normal process to those who appose a non-approved head of a non-approved agency decimating our governemnt.

What is it about frat boy preznits... the brainphartz of the right wing... bizness skool grageeates... always delegating jobs...?

Turd 2 did that as well...

Reagoonietunes... well he was just a sock puppet.

Hmm.. three months on the job and Trumpy is finally figuring out how the executive branch works and what the job of department heads is and how they are supposed to function. Too bad the presidency doesn't have a probationary period so Elmo could just fire him. Think of the savings!

Was Trumpy another DEI hire? He is obviously not a very competent white man. (Because he's obviously orange and very incompetent)

Trump SAID he will put new limits on Musk.
FTFY

(Trumpo SAYS lots of things; most of them he never does or does badly to the point of absurdity)
