I hope Muskturd feels really used... because he was.

#4 Muskhole used dotard for what he really wanted...ending the investigations into Tesla's ------ safety record, ending oversight of the CPB, SEC and bank regulators.

However, he did manage to insert himself into the nation's databases and kill the investigations into his companies so he's getting over it.

"However, he did manage to insert himself into the nation's databases and kill the investigations into his companies so he's getting over it."

Too simplistic, it could easily have been willingly done through pressure on Congress or Executive Order. No. like Trump, he wanted to eviscerate regylatory agencies of all kinds to bring back totally unregulated capitalism as we had pre-FDR. His and Trump's "vision" was far larger than Tesla.

I'll play along, let's say you're right. Do you really think a democrat is going to do anything about what you mention above to an extent that it would really punish Musk? The truthful answer is NO. Carlin was right, it's a big club, and you ain't in it.

Whipping boy? They were treated as the pompous, illegal idiots they are/were. If he doesn't want to be treated like he deserves, he's free to simply slink off and return to selling other people's ideas as his own and making an a&^ of himself in public appearances as a private citizen.

Never thought I'd say this in this lifetime but I agree with Nixon.

It was ok when he said he would do it, which of course he didn't but someone on the right actually tackles it and you crap your depends.

If yes, then why no substantiation provided?

Really no need it was his first executive order.

The President's first Executive Order called for more transparent, participatory, and collaborative government. This action set the bar for Executive Orders and Memoranda to follow that further his commitment to a government that is open and efficient.

Elon Musk to exit government, upset that Trump bill undermines DOGE's work
arstechnica.com

... Senior White House officials such as Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller "were particularly irked by those comments, and the White House was forced to call Republican senators to reiterate Trump's support for the package," according to Reuters. The news article said that "Musk did not have a formal conversation with Trump before announcing his exit" and quoted a source as saying that Musk's departure was decided "at a senior staff level."

Musk last month tried to appease nervous Tesla investors by saying he would spend more time at the car company and less at the government. But even then, Musk said he would likely continue for "the remainder of the president's term, just to make sure that the waste and fraud that we stop does not come roaring back" and that "I think I'll continue to spend a day or two per week on government matters for as long as the president would like me to do so and as long as it is useful." ...

Last week, Musk posted that he was "back to spending 24/7 at work and sleeping in conference/server/factory rooms."

Lawsuits against Musk, DOGE continue

Musk and the Trump administration are facing numerous lawsuits over the authority wielded by DOGE and the large spending cuts imposed by the new government entity. In one case filed by 14 states against Musk, DOGE, and Trump, a federal judge dismissed President Trump from the lawsuit on Tuesday but said the lawsuit can proceed against Musk and DOGE.
