As I have mentioned in the past, if Pres-elect Trump surrenders to Pres Putin regarding Ukraine, then that would only embolden Pres Putin.

The initial response of those 30 will be a signal to Russia as to how to proceed. If all hell breaks loose, Russia will quick back down and look for another way to get what it wants. I suspect that Putin will never try a frontal assault but will try to undermine a country from within i.e. get enough "citizens" of the country to raise hell.
