Life-saving Avalanche Forecasts could be Hindered by Trump Budget Cuts

Avalanches kill about two dozen people a year in America, the Associated Press reports. Experts fear that number could increase after the Trump administration fired hundreds of meteorologist and other environmental scientists which could hinder efforts to get early warnings of unstable snow out to the public.
