Medicare Privatization Will Rob Seniors, Disabled People

The average household with someone who receives Medicare has to pay $7,000 out of pocket every year. And many have to pay much more -- 3 in 10 Medicare households spend more than 20% of their income on healthcare.

Dr. Oz owns a huge amount of stock in United Healthcare (UHC), which is the largest provider of Medicare Advantage plans. UHC is probably one of the worst health insurance companies on the planet and last year their late CEO paid the ultimate price for putting profits over people.

I know a family personally devastated by United HealthCare (UHC) who denied paying for a mother's cancer care. This family was on UHC for years and suffered few medical issues. When they needed UHC to be there for them, they were abandoned.

Yet you think the system is fine. These conditions weren't caused by Trump.

"These conditions weren't caused by Trump."

These conditions will get worse because of Trump.
It's what every Trump voter voted for.

$7K OoP per year isn't bad by my experience. Much less than many of the insurance land available out there.

That's what I pay and my insurance is quite good.

Btw you switch from raw dollars to % of income. Intentionally?

Regular Medicare with a MediGap supplement coverage typically means all someone pays is the annual $189 Medicare deductible.
