Donald Trump is facing a sharp rise in disapproval ratings similar to that of November, 2018, when the Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives, according to new polling data.
What's even keeping Trump at a 43% approval rating? At this point, it's the right-wing media that's doing the heavy lifting.

... The former president promised that inflation would go away and taxes would fall, while energy and electricity costs would be cut in half.
Donald Trump laid out a promise of a broad economic agenda that included drilling for more American energy, lowering taxes, eliminating inflation, sending migrants back home, saving Social Security and Medicare, and keeping the U.S. out of World War Three.
In what was billed as a serious discussion of economic policy, Trump focused heavily on inflation and the higher cost of living that has ensued during the past three years. And he laid the blame for that squarely at the feet of Vice President Kamala Harris.
"We will drive prices down and make America affordable again," Trump said to a full crowd of about 2,500 at an indoor arena in Asheville, North Carolina.
Trump served up a smorgasbord of red meat to the friendly audience " from promising to "drill, baby drill" and increase U.S. energy production that is already at record levels to cutting government regulations and removing taxes on tips and Social Security.
He even promised to pay off the national debt, now running at $35 trillion and to which he added nearly $8 trillion while he was president. But he honed in on inflation and talked about it in simple terms, while laying the blame on President Joe Biden and Harris.
"A lot of people are devastated by this economy," he said. "Our country has become a third world nation ... a banana republic in so many ways." ...
