Trump Is Literally Attempting to Rewrite History

For generations, official American documents have been meticulously preserved and protected ...

In @nytopinion.nytimes.com The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture "does not shy away from the tragedies, but neither does it give short shrift to the joy," John McWhorter writes. It "trusts everyone to tolerate -- no, celebrate -- the contradictions."

"To say that it is amateur hour at the White House is to slander amateurs."

David Brooks recently gave one of the most impressive short speeches I've seen in a long time:

How the Elite Rigged Society (and why it's falling apart)

www.youtube.com

He gives the speech as an elitist in front of other elitists in a surprisingly humorous and human way.

This has been in progress for a while now. With the racist attacks on CRT to reducing the role slavery played in American history to erasing contributions of black Americans.

Are Native Americans even discussed any longer? Thanksgiving maybe? Open armed and welcoming and choosing to live on tribal lands the US government allows them to pretend they govern.

Trump sounds like Biden.

"Good people on both sides" et al hoaxes.

Someone had a list, lets just say it was 100 or so items where Lumpers lied.

History does not repeat itself. But it certainly rhymes.

Trumpy has the same hubris as Akanaten. And will likely end up recorded in history in a similar way.

Akanayen's culture shift.. was completely reversed after his death. Akhenaten's monuments were dismantled and hidden, his statues were destroyed and defaced, and his name excluded from lists of rulers compiled by later pharaohs and all his changes mostly lost to history.
