UK: RAF Deployed 518 Spy Flights Over Gaza Strip

Action on Armed Violence (AOAV) reports: "Between 3 Dec 2023 and 27 Mar 2025, the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) conducted at least 518 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) flights to the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) using the Shadow R1 aircraft almost daily out of RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus."

In what way does flying these covert spy missions on behalf of Israel help the hardworking British taxpayer?

MP Jeremy Corbyn raised the issue in Parliament of UK complicity in IDF war crimes.

The UK is one of the 25% of UN member states that have not recognized the State of Palestine, joining the US, France, Canada, Australia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Germany, amongst others.

Why hasn't the UK recognized Palestine, like 75% of the remaining UN member states?
