Homeowner Shoots 2 Men in Masks Claiming to Be Cops

An investigation is underway after two men wearing ski masks and claiming to be police were shot and killed at a home in southeast Houston Friday night, according to the Houston Police Department. HPD said this happened around 11 p.m. at a home on Bellnole Drive, which is off Ahrens Street near Galveston Road. The homeowner told police the two men said they were police and claimed they were at the home to serve a warrant.

"[The homeowner] became suspicious, because, you know, they have a Ring camera too, and the suspects were saying they had a warrant, but it was just two people and they're masked up and no police cars, no lights or anything like that," said Lt. Khan with HPD.

The homeowner was not hurt in the gunfire, but the two men were both hit and pronounced dead at the scene.

FAFO.

Police said the two men were wearing bulletproof vests and had some sort of badge around their necks.

Choice.

HPD Detective Kyle Stringer noted that real officers do not wear ski masks.

Take that ICE, you weak-ass wussies!

Let the games begin!

AMEN!

That's what will happen to them at my house if they show up with in masks, without a warrant and reasonable identification. Isn't that what the NRA has been training us to do for decades?

#5 | Posted by Whatsleft at 2025-08-24 11:55 AM

Even my petite wife is comfortable firing the shotgun I bought for her to use if I'm not around and something happens.

Pistol grip, 6 shots, don't even have to aim well to put a hole in a home invader ...

Nonsense! MAGAts love the taste of law enforcement...something.

I'll leave that to your imagination.

Good evening, and good luck.

If you're not using ammunition capable of penetrating body armor, aim for the head/neck or just above the knees.

Femur fractures are debilitating.

@#7 ... The MAGA quandary: Obey the cops or invoke your second amendment rights? ...

I disagree.

The quandary, imo, seems to be:

When masked individuals show up at your front door, and refuse to identify themselves or even show a law-enforcement badge. what do you do?

#10 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-08-24 09:34 PM

But, imo, a larger question lurks ~out there...~

Why is Pres Trump apparently trying to normalize this behavior of masked people showing up at your front door?

#11 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-08-24 09:36 PM

Any off the shelf 30-06 160grn will go through body armor like it's not there.

Just a suggestion.

There's plenty more :)

I think arrows work as well.

It's true.

Body armor and a badge with no genuine authority will get you shot - dead.

Just a reminder to those who think a badge makes you bullet proof.

The funniest part is y'all pretending I'm some sort of .....

Lost interest and went to sleep.

Meh.

Nah, the funny part is that you seem to think you "know" what I know.

Do you really want to be in my mind?

#8 Femur fractures are debilitating.

Shoot for the pelvis, less movement than the legs, a shattered pelvis or hip will take anybody out of the fight.

"Femur fractures are debilitating."

So is a 2 watt laser pointer in the eye. Non lethal but quite permanent.

Studying the gorilla tactics of Antifa has been quite educational.

ICE use terror tactics.

Both are police training by any other name.

In Texas you have to answer the door armed and ready to shoot whoever is on the other side of the door?

What a way to have to live.

#14 | Posted by LampLighter

Honestly, in these times, I thought that was fair advise. ...But having already had a few death threats, I fully expect this to end up a shooting conflict before it's through. I don't necessarily expect to win. But I'm gonna take some of them with me if they show up at my door.

We've equipped my wife the same way.

#30 | Posted by Whatsleft at 2025-08-25 01:15 PM

ngl

I bought my first AR15 for this very reason.
If masked people show up at my door and try to force their way in, do not identify themselves, have no warrant...
...I am going to defend myself.

Please, no bullspit "if you aren't doing anything illegal, then..." deflections. We've all seen and heard documented cases this year of American citizens and innocent people snatched just because.

#31 | Posted by e1g1 at 2025-08-25 02:26 PM

"I bought my first AR15 for this very reason."

Bruh, no.

That's a cute gun. Fun to shoot. Easy. But for home defense, get a Judge or a Governor. .410 pistol. You could still use the .223 to finish them off if they are still alive to avoid the lawsuit.

"So is a 2 watt laser pointer in the eye. Non lethal but quite permanent."

I've never understood why a manufacturer has not come up with a pistol that has both lethal and non-lethal capability. There is certainly a need to terminate a threat, but more often you're going to want to keep them alive if possible.

#33 | Posted by madbomber at 2025-08-26 09:07 AM

"I've never understood why a manufacturer has not come up with a pistol that has both lethal and non-lethal capability."

That's every firearm already in existence:

"He fired more than 1,000 rounds, killing 60 people and wounding at least 413 others." en.wikipedia.org

Blinding weapons are against the Geneva convention but if MAGA is going to drag my family and I out of the house to a camp to be killed, why bother with the rules.

Re 35

When the President of the United States (whose main task is "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed" is above the law then there are no "rules" anymore.
