Organizers of the protests are calling for June 14 to be a "nationwide day of defiance. "From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we're taking action to reject authoritarianism"and show the world what democracy really looks like," organizers say on the "No Kings" website. "We're not gathering to feed his ego. We're building a movement that leaves him behind. The flag doesn't belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. We're not watching history happen. We're making it." They add that protesters will be "showing up everywhere he isn't"to say no thrones, no crowns, no kings."

I do hope the opposition shows up in a peaceful and strong way...the Million Women March, enervated a lot of people. It will take such energy to get out the vote next year for the midterm elections.
