I've obtained a trove of leaked documents about today's federal crackdown on Los Angeles' MacArthur Park. One revelation is its codename: "Operation Excalibur"

"This morning looked like a staging for a TikTok video," said Marqueece Harris-Dawson, president of the Los Angeles City Council, adding if Border Patrol wants to film in LA, "you should apply for a film permit like everybody else.

And stop trying to scare the bejesus out of everybody who lives in this great city and disrupt our economy every day."

Chris Newman, legal director for the National Day Laborer Organizing Network, said he received a credible tip about the operation Monday.

"It was a demonstration of escalation," Newman said. "This was a reality TV spectacle much more so than an actual enforcement operation."

They were practicing the Nat Guard defending the Gestapo ICE agents as they kidnapped whomever they wish off of the streets.

"The operation in the large park about 2 miles (3.2 km) west of downtown LA included 17 Humvees, four tactical vehicles, two ambulances and the armed soldiers, defense officials said.

Governor Gavin Newsom may want to order the State Police to establish DUI and speeding checkpoints around the saloons and taverns the ICE and DHS goons gather to get sloshed after a long day of bullying defenseless people. OK, allow me to ask the following question(s) ...

The new Trump tax bill allows for the hiring of more ICE agents. So many more that ICE could become the largest law enforcement arm of the United States. Larger than all the other law enforcement arms combined?

So, there will be, obviously, a hiring binge.

My question is: what criteria will be used in those new people being hired?

Given the current politicization of ICE and that ICE does not seem to abide by current law-enforcement norms, I have to ask, what type of folk will want to join up in ICE?

There is one criterion: loyalty to FDT.

That kind of money buys a privatized paramilitary organization like those contractors in Iraq. None of the "lesser" departments will be able to stop it. Dude's building a private army, and these are just the trials.

They already built concentration camps. They've ignored habeas corpus. It's all probing ... looks just like another movement in the 30's...

Why the face masks? I'll wager that sooner or later it will come out that a sizeable percentage of these ICE or other agents are nothing more than hired bullies and cosplayers, nothing more than stand-ins, wanna-be agents, Blackwater contractors, moonlighting cops from the outer burbs working on their day off or 1/6 criminals who got on with flexible employers. Nearly all will be on the Barney Fife protocol with no ammo in their guns and smaller 'sticks', just out to impress girls with their outfits...
