Trump Administration Allows Federal Workers to Promote Religious Beliefs

The Trump administration will allow federal workers to promote their religious beliefs to colleagues ...

More

Well this should be interesting. Converting others to your religion ... at work? Supervisors can try to convince subordinates? Of course, the memo likely only means Christianity should be promoted.. this is one where people of other faiths need to show up and speak up too. Lawsuits forthcoming?

So, Satanic Church good to go?

We had a guy at the first office I worked at that would come around with his born again nonsense every single day trying to get people to convert.

Every.

Single.

Day.

I used to get in earlier than him so I would take the leads of his pentel and the staples out of his stapler every day.

One guy used to take his business cards and throw them into the bowl at the local strip club so he would be put on their mailing list.

You can tell if a church truly worships Satan if they support Trump

If I had one of these jobs I'd keep a drawer full of Muslim and Satanic literature in case anyone tries to push their crap on me.

Currently, "Religious Beliefs" seem to be supportive of Pres Trump.

So, he needs to do things to continue that support.

Like this ...

Trump memo allows federal workers to persuade coworkers their religion is correct'
thehill.com

imo, why is religion even an issue in the workplace?

FFS NO!

You're not there to talk religion you're there to work.

George Washington forbade his troops burning effigies of guy fawkes because he didn't want to alienate Catholic soldiers.

And we are supposed to be better than we were in the 1700s!

@#6 ... You're not there to talk religion you're there to work.

Apparently, irrelevant.

For Pres tTump, a goal of working seems to be to convert your co-workers to your religion.

That now seems to be a valid task of workers.

OK, now look at the fast food workers in California.

...

This is the drivel that he pushes that allows his base to ignore his affairs, rapes and pedophilia.

Have you not read their silly little book? It's pretty obvious that satan is the good guy, because their god is a piece of garbage.

Seriously. In their storybook, satan doesn't repeatedly commit genocide, doesn't support slavery, doesn't support----------, doesn't want the murder of LGBTQ+ people, doesn't promote ------ - and that's just getting started.

Nope, the christian god is evil scum.

Just another fascist attempt at subverting the constitution.

Expect more lawsuits and chaos as a result.

Thomas Jefferson was such a dumbass, right, with all that 'wall of separation between church and state' nonsense.

Which he wrote in response to a letter from some Baptists asking him to provide such laws.
