Lewzer: “I love the smell of deportations in the morning"

President Donald Trump posted a meme on social media Saturday saying that Chicago "will find out why it's called the Department of WAR," as the city's officials brace for an immigration crackdown. "I love the smell of deportations in the morning ... Chicago about to find out why it's called the Department of WAR," the post reads. Trump signed an executive order Friday to rebrand the Pentagon as the "Department of War."

The post includes what appears to be an artificially generated image of the president wearing a hat and sunglasses, with the Chicago skyline in the background, accompanied by text reading "Chipocalypse Now."

So, according to MAGAt Mussolini, the Dept. of War (oooooh, grrrrrrrrr) is ideal for domestic use.
No more fiction, just out there, in the open, dictatorial fascism on display.
From a guy who looks and behaves like he's the compere at a Ru Paul tribute show.
Except RuPaul is way younger, much thinner, and actually has some talent.
Ah, well ...
Grrrrrrrrr.

#1: G'morning, Doc Sarvis. Dummkopf Trumpf is most analogous to Il Duce over the other authoritarian despots. Both bombastic and flirtatious with women, the two buffoons choose soft military targets for (hopefully) easy wins to enjoy pomp, grandeur, and glory. For Benito Mussolini, the Mediterranean Sea was Mare Nostrum, for Trumpf, the Western hemisphere is America's colonial playground, a la the Monroe Doctrine and the long forgotten Confederate Knights of the Golden Circle: i.redd.it

Morning, Coriolanus ...
The Golden Circle sure brings back some grad school memories of the filibusters, the filibusteros), aka piratas norteamericanos. James Walker, who ended up in front of a firing squad, is the best known of these historical footnotes. Although Henry Crabb getting his head pickled in an olla of mezcal certainly was a highlight. And, on point, your Mussolini comparison seems most apt. Ridiculous, farcical, asinine, and very dangerous. But only because Mussolini was and Trump is surrounded by people totally lacking an ethical core.

#3: Good memory, Doc. We would like to see some heads in wine barrels today, wouldn't we?

Endnote on the two bombasts, Doc. Both dictators are/were not antisemitic, but certainly racist, both have/had excellent secret services, and both use/used exile and imprisonment as their tools of suppression. "Until the outbreak of war in 1940, a total of nine executions were carried out in fascist Italy, allegedly not for political offenses, followed by another 17 until Italy's surrender in July 1943 (compared to almost 80,000 legal executions in Nazi Germany, including courts martial)."
