The level of enemy of these drug cartels have been elevated to the level of is war- level terrorism.

If they are truly on the level of Al Queda/ISIS then this strike is righteous.

For me, it's not as black and white. These cartels are engaged in human, sex and drug trafficking. The question becomes jurisdiction. It's not quite the same as jihad but the similarities significantly outweigh the differences.

Misidentification is the biggest concern. Misidentifying a target. Example: A massive terrorist attack in Afghanistan that killed 13 of our service members and Biden's ------- response' was to murder an innocent family.

If they had stopped the boat and found drugs, they could have arrested the people and confiscated the drugs to try them in court and later legally destroy them. Obama did have a very confusing policy in the beginning as everyone came to terms with the problems involved in legalization of marijuana in the early stages. Because there was the federal law then there's the state laws. And they conflicted.

Some dispensaries were raided until a comprehensive policy was established.

And all kinds of businesses get raided all the time. The most common I saw in CA was localities raiding "legitimate" looking pop-ups that simply never filed a business license, paid taxes, etc. Paperwork crimes, civil offenses.

They'd stay in business about six months. Lose one day of profits and product on the raid. Rinse and repeat.

What there wasn't is a Obama era policy to raid all CA dispensaries.
