Governor Ron DeSantis kicked off Florida's new 2nd Amendment Sales Tax Holiday Monday. From ammunition and guns, to fishing rods and camping supplies, the 2025 2nd Amendment sales tax holiday will run through the end of the year until December 31.

Nothing pleases repugs more than a classroom full of first-graders chewed up by an assault rifle.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSatan, unbelievably a double Ivy League graduate, is doing his darnedest best to get his fellow Floridians sick from no vaccines, have terrible teeth from non-fluoridated water, or get wounded or killed by assailants using easily accessible firearms. In an average year, 3,108 people die by guns in Florida and 6,358 are wounded. Gun violence costs the Sunshine State $40.3 billion each year, of which $875.9 million is paid by taxpayers.

As someone on MSNBC once put it: "For Republicans, guns are more important than children."

Bootsie is a sad, sick little MAGAt.
And he's really been out of sorts since humiliating himself trying to be sooo presidential.
And what with Casey having to give up picking out those White House drapes and all ...

The open carry ban has been struck down. At least with open carry one knows who to avoid.

Florida is in competition with Utah and a couple of other states in loose firearm laws, and funerals for firearm owners.

#7 Isn't Utah open carry? You think Charlie Kirk would have known who to avoid.

Outside smoking areas make for some of the best intelligence or rumor collection points. So, in NYC a few weeks ago I met an assistant funeral director visiting from Miami. After we became acquainted and exchanged cigarettes, I asked him how many murder victims his funeral parlor buries in a year. This mortician explained to me that as a Haitian-American, he only handles his community and on average he tends to 12 to 15 victims a year. He then stated that for African-Americans, which is handled by a separate assistant funeral director, every year his parlor buries an average 18-25 murder victims annually.

Why does the GOP abhor gun control laws, vaccines, or universal health care? Death is a profitable business.

Money better used to offer tax breaks to single parents, children, elderly and veterans.
But hey, Go shoot someone else.
