Palestine demands $2Trillion from Britain

Britain's recognition of a Palestinian state was quickly followed by a demand for money. Within days, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called on the United Kingdom to pay reparations for its administration of the region under the British Mandate between 1917 and 1948. Estimates of the claim reach as high as 2 trillion. Hamas called the recognition a victory.

Pay them.

That would go a long way toward normalized relations.

Admit it. Britain did screw the Palestinians over. With no legal authority to do so.

2 trillion is a Bargain considering the Harm done.

It's always about the Money.

Since Israel took losses on 0ct.7 they should only pay 1 trillion.

That accounts for their suffering.

Besides Bankrupting Jews hurts them more. So going easy on them shows real sacrifice.

British rule was disastrous for them as it was for most places the Brits colonized. Not as bad as when the Israelis came but they do have a point.

There is nothing unprecedented in this demand for redress from the beleaguered Palestinian people who have suffered at the hands of Western-backed colonizers for eight decades.
