... Reiner was born into a Jewish family in the Bronx, New York, on March 6, 1947. His parents were Estelle and Carl Reiner. As a child, Reiner lived at 48 Bonnie Meadow Road in New Rochelle, New York. ...

Show business was in his blood.

I first learned of, and admired, his efforts back in the day when All in the Family shocked the airwaves.

He's one of the talented ones.

R.I.P. Robert Reiner.

Rob Reiner was so despondent on 6 Nov 2024 that he probably couldn't take living with Trumpfian America anymore.

looks to be a murder suicide.

Wrong. Reports are saying it was their son.

Marvin Gaye, Phil Hartman, and Bob Reiner-- all killed by a family member with a mental illness.

Sad.

I stopped watching TV years ago, but I'll never forget Rob Reiner as "Meathead."

Love(d) The Princess Bride. And of course, Spinal Tap

It's amazing how many extraordinary films he made as an actor, writer, and director. He really did take it to eleven.

Apparently one of the couple's sons (they had two) is being questioned.

Rob Reiner on Charlie Kirk's murder:

"I unfortunately saw the video of it and it's beyond belief what happened to him and that should never happen to anybody. I don't care what your political beliefs are. That's not acceptable,"

Reiner added he was touched by Erika Kirk's message of forgiveness at the Turning Point USA founder's memorial service.

"What his wife said at ... the memorial they had was exactly right. And totally I believe " you know I'm Jewish " but I believe in the teachings of Jesus and I believe ... in forgiveness," Reiner said.

#17 - you do realize all you're doing is showing everyone how damaged you are. It doesn't bother me that you're deeply disturbed and sick. I'll never know you (fortunately). I suppose being vile makes you feel better about yourself for some reason.

That is so sad.

This is typical for decomposing orange child rapist:

"Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

"He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!"

How tragic. Mental illness and guns are a bad mix.

I'll bet Nigel Tufnel will give an 11 of a eulogy.

Donald Trump is a disgusting POS.

That's the sum of his entire life, to be a POS.

#22 | Posted by Zed at 2025-12-15 10:29 AM

WTF!?

I always worried about Meathead.

He was always so outspoken in times where that can be counterproductive and even dangerous. But he made it work. And he got his message out.

He inspired me to be more outspoken and rely on my own judgement about things and not accept things just because that's the way it's always been.

I am very sad to hear this.

RIP Meathead.

fortfisher - Not sure what is wrong in your life - whether it is drugs, you were abused as a child, mental illness or something else - but seek help before you wind up being like their son.

"Trump says Rob Reiner, victims of possible homicide, died of Trump derangement syndrome'

"A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Trump went on to say Reiner was "was know to have driven people crazy" with his obsession of Trump, adding that Reiner's "paranoia" reached "new heights" as the administration "surpassed all goals and expectations."

This is where all the people who cried over Charlie Kirk being called a hateful bigot after he was murdered will come and piss all over a liberal being murdered.

Rest in piece Rob and Michelle.

He directed so many good movies. A genius and a kind compassionate soul.
