... Most Connecticut residents were unable to join the 6.2 million Americans who watched the return of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night as Nexstar, which owns ABC affiliate station WTNH, continues to preempt the late-night show.

In response, the Connecticut Citizen Action Group held a protest Thursday afternoon outside the WTNH news station in New Haven, decrying Nexstar's decision as "censorship, media consolidation and (a) threat to free speech and democracy."
