The Midwest Has Turned on Trump

Once the heart of President Donald Trump's political base, the Midwest -- the region he promised to revive with factory jobs and "America First" trade policies -- is showing signs of disillusionment.

Everything that makes Trump more desperate means a greater chance that he will subvert or destroy next year's mid-terms.

I don't know how, from his point of view, he can avoid pulling another coup worse than the last one.

My guess is that may be true for most of the Midwest states, but not all of them.

Sorry, I think the best you'll see is the flipping of a few Congressional seats.

But they'll vote MAGA for POTUS and probably Senate.
